Men and boys in the congregation serve as ushers in our church. The usher's job is to make sure that the Worship Services go smoothly. They pass the collection plates for the offering, light the altar candles, and ring the church bell before and after the service. They are asked to assist members and visitors run the chairlift. The ushers will also direct people to our restrooms and the mothers' room.
The head usher is the vice-president of the congregation. He is responsible to set up the ushers' schedule and train all those who want to be an usher. To join the ushers, please contact either the
vice-president or the pastor. Reminders of who the ushers are each week are found in the bulletin announcements and on the church calendar in the monthly newsletter.

Youth Bible School is open to all children, age 4 to 8th grade, in our church and our community. You do not have to be a member to send your children to YBS. We have dedicated and trained teachers who are ready and able to teach. Through the study of Bible history, your children will see that the way of salvation is only through faith in Christ Jesus.
In addition, there are also a number of special events (for example: swimming, snow sledding, etc.) We like to do these special things with the children AND THEIR PARENTS to promote family fellowship. The times and dates of these special events will be announced through the weekly bulletin and the monthly church newsletter.
To enroll your children in our Youth Bible School, please bring them downstairs in Centennial Hall when YBS is meeting. Please don't hesitate to speak with one of our YBS teachers. They are always ready to help. You may contact Pastor for more information. We look forward to serving your children through our Youth Bible School.

Youth Confirmation classes are open to all young people in grades 6th through 8th. These young people are taught the basic teachings of God's Holy Word. They will receive confirmation instructions from the pastor using Dr. Martin Luther's Small Catechism. To enroll in confirmation class or for more information, please contact Pastor. The only cost for this 3-year course is $18.00 for the catechism book.
It is expected that students involved in confirmation instruction will attend our weekly Worship Services. After they have concluded the 3-year course and have expressed their willingness to become communicant members of the congregation, confirmands promise to remain faithful to God and his Word for as long as they live. Such a confirmation vow presupposes faithful church attendance both before and after confirmation.
