Northeast Wisconsin is my home. Since retirement I find myself very interested in bluebird preservation. Nests have been built and placed in Virginia, Florida, Wisconsin, and Illinois. We are also on the alert for old and abandoned houses as we travel around the country.
Stopping along the way to clean and repair houses is always fun. They are found on old fences, and sometimes may need a new roof, or reattatching in some way. Mainly now I search out websites where I may learn more about the nesting habits of these beautiful little birds.
